Site Reference Internet Marketing Articles-31

(A very special thank you to those who took the time to email me personally. That really was greatly appreciated!)
Anyway, here are some other great tips for task lists you may not know about:
Don want to use another piece of software? Gmail has it own task list. The only difference between this and Remember the Milk? It clunkier and tough to use on your phone. Integration is difficult with other programs. However, not everyone needs this; they want something quick, easy, and basic. If this is you, activate it in your mail setting.
Can type? Products like Dragon Naturally Speaking are fantastic voice to text programs for your phone and make it easy to add tasks to virtually any to-do list. (The desktop version is ritzy. Good, but ritzy.)
More interested in only converting emails to tasks and integrating it from there? Taskforce can be a fantastic option.
Need a few more bells and whistles? Try Toodledo, which includes an intuitive interface and settings to help minimize clicks and organizational disasters.
Want to combine notes, tasks, and reminders? Springpad may be the way to go. (Includes barcodes, pictures, web clippings, and more)
Want something a little prettier? Take a look at Wunderlist.
Want to make use of an API and get geeky? Task Coach is open source and might just have what you looking for.
Make Actionable Emails Easily Identifiable
I know, I know. The whole should practice inbox zero thing. I don Why? I have centralized my processes around Google and Gmail, so why spread it out among multiple sites and software? Secondly, people drive themselves so crazy trying to achieve an empty inbox, they lose amazing amounts of time, instead of something that works for them. We all wired differently, so why try to do things the same?
Want to mark important emails demanding your immediate attention (aka, those ones that require work or thinking to reply to?) Star them or give them a specific label and set up your priority inbox to display these in their own category.
Set Up Standard Replies
I not promoting spam here, but if you do business online, eventually you going to find yourself repeating the same information over and over again. Use signature apps like Wisestamp to create containing this information (excellent for promotion of everything from your social media accounts to your latest blog posts, by the way). Then, you simply have to insert your signature instead of retyping it over and over again. This works great for price lists and basic support or how-to information!
Read It Later
I have a number of newsletters and other emails I find interesting, but are a huge pain in the backside when I busy. I solved this by creating a tag for everything I want to later and creating a filter for it. It doesn show up in my notifications or make things ding, so I not tempted to read them and they don pose an interruption.
Oh, and those emails with important information I want to save for later? I forward them to Evernote, where I have a similar tagging system set up.
Stop Working in Different Time Zones
No, I don mean only work in your local areas. I talking about a fantastic feature in Gmail Labs called Time Zones It converts the sender time zone to yours, so you always know when to expect a response or book that online meeting.
Here are a few other helpful Gmail Labs extensions:
Mouse Gestures If you ever caught yourself swiping your finger across the screen and wondered why it didn work, this is the cat meow for you. You can quickly and easily page through messages without making a single click.
Send Archive Because you a smart user who labels all of your important email (hopefully with filters), archiving after you replied is just a time waster. This add on lets you do it all at once.
